At Pokey's
BarBque, our owner is the sole pit master, and he studied
in a Texas school to learn his craft. Because he is the only one
who barbecues the meat, you are sure to get the same high-quality,
mouthwatering food each time you visit our barbecue restaurant. Our
services and products are different than others' because all of our
food is homemade and authentic. We care about the food we serve,
which is why there is no other restaurant like ours in
town. The reason why our restaurant is the best of the best is
because we only hire the best employees and the best cooks

Our
Atmosphere
We gutted our entire building and started from scratch
with its construction. Everything is made of wood. Our building is
made of rustic logwood, and our floors are hardwood. Our building
was hand constructed with hand-burned wood—to make it stand out—and
hand sanded. The floor looks like a veneer. We have a full bar that
is made out of colored concrete. Our 12-foot salad bar is enormous.
For decoration on the walls, our owner's sister has displayed her
paintings and other local artists' paintings, which are all for
sale. So, if you see a piece of artwork you like, you can buy it.
